Educational Outreach

The College of Dentistry serves as part of the dental safety net for the State of Nebraska. Our outreach activities allow our students, faculty and staff to provide oral health care services and education to underserved populations across the state.

Early Dental Health Starter Kits Program

We partner with the Nebraska DHHS Office of Oral Health and the Nebraska Community Foundation to produce and distribute children's dental health kits across Nebraska with the goal of preventing children's dental disease.

Special Olympics Special Smiles Program

We partner with the Special Olympics Special Smiles program to provide free dental screenings and education to Special Olympics athletes ranging in ages from 10-69.
