Nagamani Narayana, DMD, MS, is a professor of oral biology, section of oral pathology at the UNMC College of Dentistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University, Philadelphia and completed Fellowship training in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at New York Hospital, Queens, New York as well as fellowship training in oral medicine at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. She is board certified in both oral and maxillofacial pathology as well as oral medicine and holds diplomate status in the American Academy of Oral Medicine and the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.

Dr. Narayana teaches oral pathology and oral medicine at UNMC College of Dentistry and is the director of the oral biopsy service. She specializes in the diagnosis and management of oral lesions from canker sores to cancer. She is available for appointments at the University Dental Associates.
