Benjamin Mattson, M.S.Ed
Instructional Designer
Benjamin Mattson is a Senior Instructional Designer with the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Benjamin joined UNMC in 2015 and supports NETEC, the National Emerging Special Pathogens Training and Education Center grant program. With over 25 years of experience as an educational and multimedia professional, Benjamin supports the NETEC team in the creation and deployment of educational training and resource materials from online and in-person training courses, to instructional skill videos and NETEC’s podcast, Transmission Interrupted. Prior to joining UNMC, Benjamin worked with faculty at the University of Kansas as an Educational Technologist in KU’s Center for Online and Distance Learning. He earned undergraduate degrees in music education, performance, and electronic media from Wichita State University and holds a Master of Science in Education from the University of Kansas.
