Lindsey Bandow, MA
Project Manager II
Lindsey joined the Global Center for Health Security (GCHS) in March 2023 as a project manager, supporting programs focused on research, innovation, education and training, and capacity building to advance health security and disaster preparedness. She has worked on several large initiatives including the National Emerging Special Pathogens Training and Education Center (NETEC), the Region VII Disaster Health Ecosystem (R7DHRE), and multiple infection prevention and control and health defense efforts primarily involving the development and refinement of the Isolation System for Treatment and Agile Response for High-Risk Infections (ISTARI), a portable negative pressure containment patient care system.
With more than a decade of experience, Lindsey has helped a variety of organizations and initiatives with their organizational effectiveness and process improvement efforts, planning and facilitation needs, and research and evaluation studies. Before joining GCHS, she served as a senior organizational consultant for Category One Consulting, a decision support specialist at the University of Nebraska Omaha, and a research and evaluation specialist for Omaha Public Schools.
Lindsey holds a Master of Arts from the University of Nebraska Omaha and a Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University.
