- C-STARS
  C-STARS, the Center for Sustainment of Trauma Readiness Skills- Omaha is a collaboration between UNMC, Nebraska Medicine, and the Air Force Research Laboratory’s School of Aerospace Medicine. C-STARS Omaha works closely with UNMC’s Global Center for Health Security, iEXCEL, and the Nebraska Biocontainment Unit to take advantage of the medical center’s capabilities and expertise in biopreparedness training and research.

Stefanie Neumann

Stefanie Neumann joined the GCHS in June 2022, following her role as a Communication Specialist at the UNO's Health Careers Resource Center and the Omaha Area Health Education Center. She currently holds the position of Communication & Website Coordinator at the GCHS, where her key duties include managing the GCHS website and social media, tracking analytics, monthly newsletter production, event planning support, and collaborating with the graphic design team for marketing and communication materials.

Stefanie also supports the Region 7 Disaster Health Response Ecosystem (R7DHRE) and the Strengthening Healthcare Infection Prevention and Control (SHIP-C) core programs with website, social media, and various communication tasks.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2009 and a Master of Arts in Communication at UNO in 2016. She is a huge fan of the German National Soccer Team "Die Mannschaft" & FC Bayern Munich soccer, and she enjoys traveling, spending time with family, friends, and her cat Cleopawtra, arts & crafts, fishing, concerts, plants, and true crime.
