Vicky Nakibuuka, MPA, MPH
Project Manager II
Vicky Nakibuuka joined GCHS as an International Project Manager from the Department of Pediatrics where she was for 10 years as a level II Administrator, as well as the Global Health Education and Research Programs Administrator in the last three years. She has extensive experience in global partnership initiation and maintenance. She has worked as project manager on several pediatric AMR research projects. Prior to her joining Pediatrics, she worked with Metropolitan Community College as a Program Manager for Project Bridge, working with international health graduates wanting to transition into the US system. Before then, she worked with the Omaha Area Health Education Center (AHEC) as a Resources Programs Manager. Vicky holds a BS from Nkumba University in Uganda, an MPA (Health Administration) from UNO and an MPH (Health Promotion) from UNMC. She is a certified Clifton StrengthsFinder coach and was the State mentor for State of Nebraska in 2019.
