- Two years after the COVID-pandemic, there is a significant decline in mental health, including depression, anxiety, and stress, as well as a doubling of the risk of psychosis outcome. However, there is evidence for divergent outcomes including evidence for resilience.
- •Previous trauma exposure and social connectedness are strongly associated with higher levels of resilience, underlying stress-sensitivity mechanisms in the Croatian population.
- •Social connectedness and resilience may serve as a buffer against future stress and the onset of mental health disorders, particularly psychosis.
