Watt Poultry A commercial meat turkey flock in Sanpete County, Utah, that was struck by highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) included 34,800 birds, according to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS).

Earlier this week, the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food reported that the presence of HPAI had been confirmed in a commercial turkey flock in Sanpete County, but it did not have information concerning the flock size.
