Federal University of Paraná (Brazil) for both

Career aspirations:

My career goal is to pursue a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine (PCCM) and, afterward, to serve the local community in Nebraska.

What was your first job?

Medicine has been my only professional experience so far. I have completed a residency in Internal Medicine as well as fellowship training in Pulmonology in Brazil.

What is the furthest you've traveled from Omaha?

Brazil

If you couldn't work in medicine, what would you do?

If I couldn’t work in medicine, I would likely become a preacher. That answer has evolved over the years, but I’ve consistently been drawn to paths focused on serving others and making a meaningful impact.

Best thing to do in Nebraska if you only had one day? If you are new to Nebraska, what are you most looking forward to experiencing?

I’m especially excited to explore the local food scene, as I really enjoy trying new restaurants. My wife and I also love spending time in nature, so we’re looking forward to visiting some of the parks and experiencing the natural beauty Nebraska has to offer.
