Health Information for You

The UNMC Health Information Service assists Nebraska residents or patients receiving health care in Nebraska, and their families, in finding information on health and wellness topics.

Health Information Requests

A librarian will research health questions and compile a packet of information specific to the requestor's needs. The information will be sent, at no cost, by mail or email.

In-Person Service

The library is not open to the public. Guests must be accompanied by a current UNMC faculty, staff, or student or Nebraska Medicine staff member. A UNMC or Nebraska Medicine ID badge is required for building and library access. There are no computers or printing services in the library for guests.

For wifi access, we recommend the Wigton Heritage Center on level 4 of Wittson Hall.
