Design Thinking
Design thinking resources in the library foster innovative problem-solving among students, faculty, and staff. Teams and individuals can use supplies, equipment, and flexible workspaces for brainstorming, collaboration, and idea development.
Most resources are available in Room 6004. The UNMC community may use the resources when the room is unoccupied or reserve time in advance by contacting the library’s AskUs team. If you need specific resources for your design thinking project, we suggest reserving in advance to ensure availability.
Resources available include:
- Interactive Vibe Boards
- Whiteboards
- Arts and crafts supplies for prototyping
- Flip charts and brainstorming supplies
- Write-on rolling desks
- Wall-mounted display monitors ready for laptop connection
- Books about design thinking (search the library catalog for “design thinking”)

Design thinking resources in the library were funded in part by a University of Nebraska Collaboration Initiative Grant awarded for 2023–2025 to faculty and staff from UNO, UNL, and UNMC.
