Professional Summary
During my career in the human services field, my work included advocating, researching, listening, providing resources and information while walking with those served. But when my daughter was born and we learned she had Down syndrome, my family started a new journey. Throughout the course of her life, I have learned to navigate a world filled with medical specialists, therapies, IEP meetings, and social services to provide the support she needs to thrive. I have also learned how important it is as caregiver to have a strong support system to ask questions, share information with and who understands the ups and downs that come along. I am committed to helping families like mine, find their way on their own journey.
