Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists assess and treat individuals with sensorimotor challenges that interfere with their ability to participate in the activities they want and need to do in their everyday life.

Occupation is defined as meaningful activity. Therefore, our therapeutic focus is on optimizing function and participation when fine motor, oral motor and/or sensory difficulties are compromising an individual’s self-care independence, access to education, health and social participation.
