Occupational therapists assess and treat individuals with sensorimotor challenges that interfere with their ability to participate in the activities they want and need to do in their everyday life. 

Occupation is defined as a meaningful activity. Therefore, our therapeutic focus is on optimizing function and participation for persons experiencing motor incoordination, muscle weakness, feeding or sensory difficulties that are decreasing their independence in home, school, social or work environments.
