Professional Summary
Tammy Stephens, OTR/L, SCSS has worked in the area of pediatric school based occupational therapy for 31 years. Tammy has worked in a residential and school based facility in South Dakota and has been with MMI since 2002 serving students in the Omaha Public Schools ages 3-21. Her particular area of interest is assisting students with the transition to adulthood, helping them become independent and successful adults. She is coordinator of transition for the MMI OT department. She serves as the MMI representative on the NE Department of Education Transition Advisory Board and is a member of the Regional Postsecondary Transition Team. Tammy received her Specialty Certification in School Systems in 2016. She also serves as a clinical instructor for OT students as well as a mentor for our Occupational Therapy Fellowship Program.
