Alexandria Robers is a board certified behavior analyst and postdoctoral fellow on the comprehensive school-based mental health team in the Psychology Department at the UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute (MMI). Currently, Dr. Robers is on MMI’s comprehensive school-based mental health team. Additionally, she conducts Autism evaluations.
Dr. Robers has experience in influencing the development of children by providing assessment and therapeutic services in a variety of settings. She completed her predoctoral internship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital where she delivered behavioral health services to youth with developmental disabilities and their families. Her current professional interests focus on school-based behavior consultation for children who engage in complex and severe behavior.
Dr. Robers also remains committed to using a culturally humble approach to effectively meet the unique needs of those with minoritized identities. Both her clinical and research interests center around promoting diversity, equity, inclusion and belongingness amongst the people she encounters and the places she works. Dr. Robers encourages others to continuously reflect on how the intersections of their identities result in either privilege or oppression in our society.

Dr. Robers has experience guest lecturing and supporting courses designed for both undergraduate and graduate students. For 3 years, she served as the TA for the course, Behavioral and Social Emotional Prevention and Intervention. Other courses Dr. Robers supported include Functional Behavior Assessment, Assessment in the School Psychology, and Research in School Psychology.
