Professional Summary

Daphne Snyder is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Psychology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s (UNMC) Munroe-Meyer Institute for Genetics and Rehabilitation (MMI). Dr. Snyder currently provides comprehensive school-based mental health services. Dr. Snyder has experience providing consultation on Functional Behavior Assessment and intervention in classroom, group home, family home and clinical settings. Dr. Snyder’s research and clinical interests include using Baseline Classroom Conditions and classroom management to decrease challenging behavior in the classroom, training others to conduct Functional Behavior Assessment and Behavior Intervention Plans in the classroom and promoting equity in classrooms through teacher-student interactions and equitable disciplinary practices. Dr. Snyder received her Ph.D. and master’s degree in Behavior Analysis from Western Michigan University.
