Professional Summary
Sarah Holmes, MA, BCBA, PLMHP, is a predoctoral intern in the Munroe-Meyer Institute Department of Psychology at UNMC. Sarah is a 5th year PhD student in the School Psychology Program at Louisiana State University where she also earned her MA and BS in Psychology. Sarah takes a behavior analytic approach to the treatment and assessment throughout the lifespan.
Sarah’s clinical experience includes providing treatment for children/adolescents and their families with/without intellectual and developmental disabilities for language acquisition, challenging behavior reduction, and medical device tolerance. Sarah also has experience working with preschool-aged children on academic interventions and with parents and teachers to reduce disruptive behavior in the home and classroom settings. Sarah’s research goals, broadly, are to determine effective, efficient, and preferred methods to deliver treatment to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families especially to increase tolerance for medical procedures and medical devices.
