In the Blackford Emotional Neuroscience Research Lab, Margarita assists Dr. Blackford in conducting experiments related to anxiety in adults who are in early abstinence from alcohol use disorder, and experiments related to anxiety throughout development. As a manager for undergraduate student volunteers, Margarita helps to place students in research labs at MMI and mentors students in the Blackford Emotional Neuroscience Lab.
