Professional Summary
Mallory Luers Morris, MS, CCC-SLP, is a speech language pathologist in the Department of speech-language pathology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) Munroe-Meyer Institute (MMI). Mallory joined the team in March 2023. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in 2019 and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in 2021. Mallory completed her graduate externship here at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). She then gained professional clinical experience at a mid-level hospital in central Nebraska where she treated patients in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing settings and NICU settings. Her clinical interests include communication, cognition and swallowing treatment following acute stroke or traumatic brain injury, adult and geriatric dysphagia management, palliative dysphagia management, and swallowing and communication in tracheostomized/ventilator dependent patients.
