If you couldn't work in medicine, what would you do? I would be a wildlife photographer for National Geographic.
Best thing to do in Nebraska if you only had one day? After getting a great iced latte, I'd spend my day hitting the thrift stores.
Most fond residency experience or memory up to this point? So far, it has been meeting and getting to know my co-residents!

What was your first job? I ran the concession stand at the little league baseball fields near my childhood home.
What is the furthest you've traveled from Omaha? Montego Bay, Jamaica, for my honeymoon
If you couldn't work in medicine, what would you do? If there was a job where I could host dinner parties for my friends that's what I would do, so maybe an event planner is the closest thing.
Best thing to do in Nebraska if you only had one day? I am a huge foodie so would love to spend the day trying new restaurants! Then I would head to the zoo with my sweet baby boy and my husband before ending the day on a patio sipping drinks with my co-interns.
Most fond residency experience or memory up to this point? It has been so fun spending time with my co-interns and exploring Omaha together!

Best thing to do in Nebraska if you only had one day? Sleep in, grab a double-shot coffee at Dundee Double Shot, do a little shopping at Nebraska Crossing, then end the day at a Huskers game or a concert.
Most fond residency experience or memory up to this point? Doing my first cesarean section on night float with Dr. Logan Schroeder, rocking matching night-sky scrub caps.

Career aspirations: Undecided at this point but leaning towards being a generalist! I love the variety that comes with being a generalist and being able to provide both obstetric and gynecologic care to women in every stage of life!

What is the furthest you've traveled from Omaha? I actually lived abroad in Singapore for four years in high school! Singapore is over 9,000 miles from Omaha, so I think that is the winner.
If you couldn't work in medicine, what would you do? I would be an event planner. I love to host small get togethers, dinner parties, holiday parties, etc. and being able to plan events like that for others and make their vision come to life would be so rewarding.
Best thing to do in Nebraska if you only had one day? I would start with brunch at Good Lookin' in Dundee. Then I would make a candle at the Dundee Candle Company and head downtown for the farmers market. For lunch I would have to get Blue Sushi (specifically the Tuna Tower). Then I would go shopping at Village Pointe and have dinner at Pitch Pizza. I would end the night in Blackstone for some live music and nightlife.
Most fond residency experience or memory up to this point? Spending time with all of my co-residents during orientation week! Being able to get to know everyone and spend time together before the craziness of residency starts has been amazing and I can't wait for the next 4 years together!
