Our department sponsors a variety of educational events for our faculty, staff and colleagues at UNMC and Nebraska Medicine. Some of these activities offer continuing education credits.

Grand Rounds

Clinical Grand Rounds, held on the first Wednesday of each month, feature internal or external speakers presenting on topics relevant to advancing UNMC's clinical mission.

Basic Science Seminars

The Basic Science Seminars, held twice monthly, provide the latest research on a whole host of health topics.

The 2026 International Conference on Gram-Positive Pathogens drew 135 graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, lab personnel, and faculty members to Omaha.
