Clinical Experience and Education

Listed below is a brief description of the curriculum of the Pediatric Hospital Medicine training program. The program is designed to provide the skills necessary to practice Pediatric Hospital Medicine in any clinical setting while also preparing fellows to practice in an academic environment. Below is a sample plan of study for our fellows; however, schedules are flexible depending on a fellow's career goals. The fellow will complete inpatient hospital months at Children's Nebraska, Newborn at Bryan & St. Elizabeth hospitals, subspecialties at Children's and UNMC, and Rehabilitation at Madonna.
