Bachelor of Science-Pharmaceutical Sciences Program

The Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (BSPS) is a 2+2 degree program that combines two years of prerequisite coursework at any accredited college or university with two years of specialized study at the UNMC College of Pharmacy.

Designed for students interested in healthcare, biomedical sciences, and research, the BSPS provides a strong scientific foundation while keeping multiple career pathways open. Completion of the program fulfills prerequisite requirements for several UNMC professional and graduate programs, including Pharmacy (PharmD), Medicine (MD), Dentistry (DDS), Physician Assistant (PA), and PhD programs. It is an ideal option for students who are passionate about science and healthcare but are still exploring their long-term career goals.
