Goal of Psychiatry Grand Rounds: To provide the highest-quality continuing education for clinical staff, house officers, and medical students within the department and other interested persons in the medical community.
Mission Statement: To present unbiased, scientifically-based information relevant to the practice of Psychiatry.
The UNMC Psychiatry Department in conjunction with the Creighton University Psychiatry Department presents grand rounds on alternating weeks (UNMC on the 2 nd and 4 th weeks of the month, CU on the 1 st and 3 rd weeks of the month) at 12:00 PM. Presenters are selected from our faculty and residents, and from around the country, with topics selected based on audience interest. Deliberate effort is made to avoid commercial bias in all grand rounds presentations.
