Dental Injections: Retractions and Fulcrums

This module will educate a dental hygiene student on the proper retractions and fulcrums needed to administer dental injections safely and comfortably. The module will start with educating the dental hygiene student on the rationale for retractions and fulcrums. Next, the module will cover the different retractions and fulcrums for both maxillary and mandibular injections.

Anatomy of Dental Injections

This module will provide an overview of the anatomy related to dental injections. The learner will identify bones of the cranium and major landmarks of the mandible and maxilla. It will also detail injection approaches.
