Allergy and Clinical Immunology Fellowship

We are excited to announce that the Allergy and Clinical Immunology Fellowship was officially approved by the ACGME in January of 2021.

What to expect at UNMC's Allergy & Immunology Fellowship.

The goal of the UNMC Allergy and Immunology Clinical fellowship program is to train fellows to become competent and board certify eligible specialty physicians able to evaluate and manage pediatric and adult patient with allergic and immunologic diseases. Fellows will master proficiency in evaluation, diagnosis and management of pediatric and adult patients. The fellowship allows fellows to be exposed to 50% pediatric and 50% adult patients with allergic and immunologic diseases. Our program is focused on making the training specific to the needs of the fellow and can be focused on pediatrics, internal medicine, research, academia or private practice. The curriculum and rotation schedule are designed to provide the specific education needed for each fellow to reach his or her career goals while still staying within ACGME accreditation guidelines. Fellows will have 8 hours a week dedicated to education divided into 2 four-hour blocks.
