With the changing of seasons comes new nutritional considerations and opportunities to capitalize on, in regard to your health and well-being!  Nebraska Medicine Nutrition Therapist, Courtney Aken, MMN, RD, LMNT, LD, will describe how hot summer temperatures highlight the importance of adequate hydration and the desire for lighter meals that use seasonal produce.  Participants will learn what to look out for, focus on, and enjoy this summer!

 

Please pre-register by any of the following methods:

Viewing directions will be given to registrants prior to the brown bag presentation.

 

This lecture is free, however if you would like to obtain nursing credit, the cost is $15.  Payment instructions will be provided when you pre-register. Nursing credit can only be obtained for watching the live stream of the virtual presentation, not for viewing the recording after the event.

 

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Olson Center for Women’s Health. University of Nebraska Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
