Clinical Research

The physicians with the University of Nebraska Medical Center Gynecology Oncology division are committed to staying up to date with treatments for gynecologic cancers as well as seeking out new investigational therapies not available through standard treatment options. Kerry Rodabaugh, MD and Steven Remmenga, MD are members of NRG, a non-profit cancer research organization affiliated with the National Cancer Institute.

Currently available are clinical trials for the diagnosis of cervical, endometrial, ovarian, peritoneal, uterine, and fallopian tube cancers. These clinical trials include new drugs, new approaches to combinations of treatments and even quality of life studies.  Pamela Nielsen RN, BSN, OCN is our research coordinator 402-559-4924.  A listing of all clinical trials currently enrolling subjects at UNMC may be found at the Clinical Studies website.
