The Excellence in Maternal Birth Outcomes through Rigorous Assessment and Community Engagement (EMBRACE) program is a cornerstone of Nebraska’s obstetrical transformation, supporting safer maternal care through systemize collaboration, data driven education, and structured program assessment to improve maternal and neonatal outcomes.

Based at UNMC and Nebraska Medicine, EMBRACE is a statewide obstetrical initiative that integrates health system collaboration through clinical programs, education and community engagement. Its goal is to advance equitable maternal health and reduce persistent disparities across Nebraska.
