Enrollment

You can enroll in either of the Pharmacy Technician Programs we offer by completing the program enrollment form. Payment is due at the time of enrollment.

Scholarship Opportunities

Nebraska Medicine offers a $500 scholarship to one applicant of either of the pharmacy technician programs monthly. Application submissions are due on the first day of the month you are planning to start the course.

Refund Policy

Participants are able to withdraw from the Certification offering before the first day of the official start date. Refunds will be issued less a 10% processing fee. A written request for withdrawal must be made in attention to the director, Judy Neville.

Awarding Certification

Participants who successfully complete the NE-CPhT training requirements will be awarded Nebraska Pharmacy Technician Certification as approved by the State Board of Pharmacy. Certification will list elective specialty endorsements successfully completed by the participant. Credentialing for Nebraska Pharmacy Technician Certification is designated by NE-CPhT.

NE-CPhT Certification is a voluntary process by which UNMC College of Pharmacy grants time-limited recognition and use of a credential to individuals who have demonstrated that they have met predetermined and standardized criteria for required knowledge, skills, or competencies. To retain the credential, certificants must meet requirements for renewal.

Participants who successfully complete the National PTCB training requirements will be awarded a Certificate of Course Completion.
