Bridget Melke

Bridget Melke, MS, began her medical physics residency at UNMC in 2025. She is originally from Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Bridget earned her bachelor’s degree in applied physics from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse and completed her master’s degree in medical physics at the University of Tennessee–Knoxville. Prior to residency, she worked as a Medical Physics Assistant for Aspirus Health, supporting clinical operations across north central Wisconsin.

Bridget’s career interests include machine and SRS quality assurance and clinical workflow optimization and automation. She values adaptability and lifelong learning, and enjoys bridging physics, medicine and technology to improve patient care and support clinical teams.

In her free time, Bridget enjoys being outdoors, playing Minecraft, spending time with family and hanging out with her two cats, Alexander and Newton.
