Yitian Wang, PhD
Yitian Wang, PhD, started his medical physics residency training at UNMC in 2026. He is originally from Inner Mongolia, China and came to the US for graduate education in 2019. During his graduate study, Yitian developed a strong interest in clinical medical imaging and radiotherapy and led him to pursue his career in the medical physics field.
Yitian’s research interests focus on macro- and micro- scale dosimetry modeling in radiopharmaceutical therapy, radiation protection through dosimetry analysis and combined treatment strategies integrating radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Outside of his research, Yitian enjoys cooking, reading, exercising, spending time with family and participating in outdoor activities.
