Dr. Dillon Clarey
PGY-3 Nebraska Dermatology Resident Physician

Dr. Dillon Clarey graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Business Administration where he was a Chancellor's Scholar. He attended medical school at UNMC, where he earned a Regent scholarship and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.  While a medical student, Dr. Clarey was an active volunteer in the Teammates Mentoring Program, Healing Gift Free Clinic, Omaha Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity, and more. He authored over a dozen research articles while a medical student.  Dr. Clarey completed his intern year of residency at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine. While an intern physician, he was very active in medical student mentorship and teaching. Dr. Clarey was the 2019-2020 PGY-2 Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at UNMC Department of Dermatology.  As a research fellow, Dr. Clarey was awarded a Central States for Agricultural Safety and Health (CS-CASH) grant with his mentor Dr. Jennifer Abrahams to develop a e-Consult program in dermatology for rural Nebraskans and to study the dermatologic conditions and exposures in agricultural workers. His research interests include increasing dermatologic access to care in underserved areas, teledermatology, and complex medical dermatology.

Tyler Evans, MD
 

Dr. Tyler Evans
PGY-3 Nebraska Dermatology Resident Physician

Dr. Tyler Evans graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Biology and Psychology and was a full-scholarship NCAA athlete in football. While a student-athlete, he was awarded the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team Award, the Brook Berringer Citizenship and Service Award, and the Beck Scholarship for excellence in academics, athletics, leadership, and integrity. He attended medical school at UNMC, where he earned a Regents Full Tuition Scholarship and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. While a medical student, Dr. Evans was heavily involved in service as a volunteer at the student-run free clinic and with organizations such as the Special Olympics, House Call for Kids, Team Jack, and Uplifting Athletes. Dr. Evans was the founding president for the Dermatology Interest Group Association (DIGA) chapter at UNMC. He completed his intern year of residency in internal medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. 

Dr. Evans enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out, intramural basketball, golf, watching sports, going to Husker football games, bow fishing, water and snow skiing, movies, trying new restaurants, brunch, traveling, hiking, country music concerts.

Ritu Swali, MD
 

Dr. Ritu Swali
PGY-3 Nebraska Dermatology Resident Physician

Dr. Ritu Swali graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in in Nutritional Sciences and a Certification in Business Foundations. While an undergraduate student, she was actively involved in service and as a professional dance team member. She attended medical school at Texas A&M University College of Medicine where she graduated with honors and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. While a medical student, Dr. Swali was active in global health organizing medical mission trips with ChangeFire and Global Medical Training, in addition, she managed the student-run indigent health care clinic "Health for All" in Bryan, TX. Dr. Swali completed her intern year of residency in internal medicine at the University of California Irvine.  She was the 2019-2020 Dermatology Research Fellow at the Center for Clinical Studies with Dr. S. Tyring at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, TX.  As a research fellow, Dr. Swali was involved in 9 clinical trials and is the author of approximately 2 dozen medical publications.

Dr. Swali enjoys dancing, traveling, making puzzles, performing arts, reading mystery books and is fluent in English and Kutchi.

Dr. Robert Borucki, M.D.
PGY-2 Nebraska Dermatology Resident Physician

Dr. Rob Borucki graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and minor in music. He attended the Medical University of South Carolina where he received the Mary D. Rich scholarship and was elected into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. During his time in medical school he volunteered at multiple free medical clinics and received a grant to develop an arts in medicine program with a local art gallery. He remained at the Medical University of South Carolina to complete his intern year in internal medicine, then completed a post-doctoral research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania under Dr. Victoria Werth. During his research fellowship he published numerous papers on cutaneous lupus and was involved in 9 different clinical trials for autoimmune skin diseases.

Dr. Borucki spends his free time playing both the piano and guitar, traveling, running, doing yoga, skiing, and perfecting his homemade pizza recipe

Dr. Erika Lee, M.D.
PGY-2 Nebraska Dermatology Resident Physician

Dr. Erica Lee graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California with degrees in neuroscience and health promotion and disease prevention. Dr. Lee was a USC Presidential Scholar. She attended medical school at the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii, where she was a scholarship recipient and was heavily involved in service and leadership, serving as the clinic manager and event coordinator for Hawaii Homeless Outreach and Medical Education Project, as well as class secretary and president of the Pediatric Interest Group. While a medical student, Dr. Lee completed an predoctoral research fellowship with Dr. Jashin Wu at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles. She completed her intern year of residency in internal medicine at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

Dr. Lee enjoys traveling, reading, yoga, listening to music and podcasts, and spending time with her husband, Bobby, and dog, Starsky.

Dr. Alfredo Siller, M.D.
PGY-2 Nebraska Dermatology Resident Physician

 
Dr. Alfredo Siller, Jr. graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas - Pan American with a bachelor’s degree in Biology with minors in chemistry and psychology. He attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin where he earned several academic scholarships and awards for service to the community including the NMF Diverse Medical Scholars Award, the AAD Diversity Mentorship award, and Best Poster Advancing Skin of Color Dermatology "Facing the Future Award”. He completed his internship at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, TX, and a dermatology research fellowship at the Center for Clinical Studies under the tutelage of Dr. Stephen K. Tyring MD, PhD. A native of the Rio Grande Valley, the health disparities he witnessed growing up along the border motivated him to pursue a career in medicine and his passions include mentorship of URMs and improving access to dermatologic services for underserved populations.

Dr. Siller enjoys spending time with his family, cats, and mini dachshunds. When not at work you can find him and his family camping, traveling, fishing, or at a Dallas Cowboys Football game!
