Dr. Dillon Clarey
PGY-4 Nebraska Dermatology Resident Physician

Dr. Dillon Clarey graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Business Administration where he was a Chancellor's Scholar. He attended medical school at UNMC, where he earned a Regent scholarship and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

His research interests include increasing dermatologic access to care in underserved areas, teledermatology, and complex medical dermatology.

Dr. Tyler Evans
PGY-4 Nebraska Dermatology Resident Physician

Dr. Tyler Evans graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Biology and Psychology and was a full-scholarship NCAA athlete in football.

While a student-athlete, he was awarded the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team Award, the Brook Berringer Citizenship and Service Award, and the Beck Scholarship for excellence in academics, athletics, leadership, and integrity.

He attended medical school at UNMC, where he earned a Regents Full Tuition Scholarship and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

Dr. Ritu Swali
PGY-4 Nebraska Dermatology Resident Physician

Dr. Ritu Swali graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences and a Certification in Business Foundations. While an undergraduate student, she was actively involved in service and as a professional dance team member.

She attended medical school at Texas A&M University College of Medicine where she graduated with honors and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

Dr. Robert Borucki
PGY-3 Nebraska Dermatology Resident Physician

Dr. Rob Borucki graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in music. He attended the Medical University of South Carolina where he received the Mary D. Rich scholarship and was elected into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.

He remained at the Medical University of South Carolina to complete his intern year in internal medicine, then completed a post-doctoral research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania under Dr. Victoria Werth. During his research fellowship, he published numerous papers on cutaneous lupus and was involved in 9 different clinical trials for autoimmune skin diseases.

Dr. Erica Lee
PGY-3 Nebraska Dermatology Resident Physician

Dr. Erica Lee graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California with degrees in neuroscience and health promotion and disease prevention.

Dr. Lee was a USC Presidential Scholar. She attended medical school at the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii, where she was a scholarship recipient and was heavily involved in service and leadership, serving as the clinic manager and event coordinator for Hawaii Homeless Outreach and Medical Education Project, as well as class secretary and president of the Pediatric Interest Group.

Dr. Alfredo Siller
PGY-3 Nebraska Dermatology Resident Physician

Dr. Alfredo Siller, Jr. graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas-Pan American with a bachelor’s degree in Biology with minors in chemistry and psychology.

He attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin where he earned several academic scholarships and awards for service to the community including the NMF Diverse Medical Scholars Award, the AAD Diversity Mentorship award, and Best Poster Advancing Skin of Color Dermatology "Facing the Future Award”.

Dr. Jennifer Fernandez
PGY-2 Nebraska Dermatology Resident Physician

Jennifer Fernandez, MD, RD, received her Nutrition and Food Studies undergraduate degree from New York University. She subsequently completed her dietetic internship at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Dr. Fernandez then returned to New York and worked as an inpatient Registered Dietitian (RD) for Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital, specializing in critical care nutrition. In addition, she also worked part-time for a fashion designer. She subsequently transitioned to medicine and attended medical school at the University of Arizona College of Medicine Tucson, where she completed a 1-year clinical research fellowship in dermatology. Jennifer completed her internship in internal medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix.

Dr. Fernandez is interested in international dermatology and is a board member of Equipping Africa, a Kenya-based non-profit organization to improve healthcare in African countries. Other clinical interests include dermato-oncology, wound care, dermatologic manifestations of micronutrient deficiencies, data management and analysis, and improving efficiency in healthcare systems.

Dr. Fernandez played volleyball and water polo at the collegiate level, and her triathlon relay team medaled five times at the New York City Triathlon. She also enjoys cycling, flying trapeze, hiking, and spending time with her husband.

Dr. Kevin Kwan
PGY-2 Nebraska Dermatology Resident Physician

Kevin Kwan, MD, received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of Kentucky, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He concomitantly completed a year-long research fellowship at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, studying the therapeutic effects of Mindfulness-based practice on adolescents with ADHD.

Following graduation, he transitioned to medicine and attended medical school at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, receiving the Kirk School of Medicine Scholarship. In his third and fourth year of medical school, Dr. Kwan completed a year-long translational research fellowship studying diabetic wound healing and neuronal involvement in inflammatory skin disorders at Northwestern University, Feinberg Medical School, under Dr. Amy S. Paller. Dr. Kwan completed his transitional year internship at Kaweah Delta Medical Center.
