Join us for EMBRACE STORK (Simulation Training in Obstetrics for Rural Knowledge), a full-day, hands-on training event designed to support rural labor and delivery nurses and sonographers. The program combines simulation-based education, expert instruction, and team-based learning to strengthen clinical skills and improve readiness for obstetric emergencies.
Nursing participants will engage in high-acuity simulation scenarios, including eclampsia, shoulder dystocia, and postpartum hemorrhage, using high-quality equipment and facilitated debriefing to enhance clinical decision-making and teamwork.
Ultrasound participants will receive hands-on training in fetal heart assessment and fetal Doppler techniques using a high-fidelity Surgical Science simulator. These sessions provide practical experience and individualized guidance from expert instructors.
Continuing education credits will be available for both nurses and ultrasound sonographers.
We encourage labor and delivery, obstetric, and sonography teams to reserve the date and plan to join us for a day of collaborative learning and skill development.
Registration information, a detailed agenda, and travel and lodging details will be available soon.
