The Department of Pathology & Microbiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center offers a fully accredited, four-year residency program in anatomic and clinical pathology (AP/CP), in addition to fellowship training in clinical microbiology, gastrointestinal/liver & transplant pathology, hematopathology, molecular genetics, and surgical pathology. There are also educational opportunities for fourth year medical students through the department's clerkship program to actively participate in advanced elective rotations and work directly with skilled clinical pathologists. The department offers its residents and fellows an excellent clinical network of hospitals, clinics, laboratories, physicians, and staff, providing a full spectrum of medical education experiences.
OPEN AP/CP PATHOLOGY RESIDENT POSITION, ACADEMIC YEAR 2019-2020
We have an unexpected opening for the 2019-20 position in our AP/CP residency training program due to a resident transfer. Although a PGY1 resident is preferred for this position, resident transfer candidates at the PGY2-4 levels will also be considered. Interested candidates should contact Scott R.
