The Office of Faculty Affairs

Welcome to the Office of Faculty Affairs at the UNMC College of Medicine. Our office exists to support faculty at every stage of their academic journey.

We are committed to creating an environment where faculty can grow, thrive and find meaning in their work across teaching, research, clinical care and service. At the core of our work is a deep respect for the contributions faculty make every day to our learners, our patients and our communities.

We work in close partnership with College of Medicine departmental leadership, governing committees, UNMC Academic Affairs and our clinical partners to ensure that faculty have clear processes, accessible resources and thoughtful guidance. We see our role as both supportive and collaborative, helping faculty navigate academic milestones while also strengthening the systems that support faculty success.

Faculty voice matters. We welcome your feedback and ideas and encourage you to reach out to us. Our work is strongest when it is informed by the lived experiences of our faculty.
