A physicist’s primer for effective patient communication

This module presents a brief justification for physicist-patient consultations in Radiation Oncology in addition to essential strategies and skills physicists will need for effective patient communication. Sample physicist-patient interactions are demonstrated for the learner to critique, and an interactive simulation allows the learner to practice and see the impact of their communication strategies on patient care.
