The UNMC Department of Psychology at Munroe-Meyer Institute (MMI) provides behavioral health services to children, adolescents and families at MMI's main location near UNO's Scott Campus, across the city of Omaha and in many clinics across the state of Nebraska.

In our rural and outreach clinics, MMI faculty and staff provide behavioral health services in the same locations where the patients receive their primary care. MMI graduate trainees (Master's, pre-doctoral students) and post-doctoral fellows work side-by-side with faculty members in the clinics, learning to provide behavioral health care in primary care.

MMI has long-standing collaborations with a number of other agencies, including Children's Physicians, which have allowed behavioral health services to be provided across the state. Our program is an exceptional example of academic researchers partnering with frontline providers to provide behavioral health services to rural Nebraskans.
