We believe...
Philanthropy can address major health issues in our community.
We ask you to join in our disease discoveries by supporting major research projects within the Department of Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology. Every day, our researchers are working to develop new diagnostic tests and treatments for life-threatening illnesses. A list of those projects includes lymphoma and leukemia, breast cancer, colon and prostate cancers, soft tissue and bone tumors, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), enteroviruses, diabetes, and Alzheimers.
Donors have the power to transform higher education in Nebraska.
Our education programs are rapidly expanding for graduate students and post doctoral fellows in the fields of microbiology and pathology. These students greatly benefit from fellowships established by donors. Your gift would transform the lives of these students and trainees, allowing them access to state-of-the-art education and opportunities to conduct research side-by-side with renowned experts. These highly trained individuals, in the future will fill important service positions at both the regional and national levels, bringing their expertise to the bench and the bedside.
Relationship with the donor is valued as much as the gift.
Your gift to the Department of Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology will change people's lives and leave a legacy of the donor or their designee. We can assist you in identifying a project or topic to support that is most meaningful to you. Your contribution is a valued investment in the future of a patient, student, research program, and Nebraska.
