LEND Postdoctoral Fellowship Application Process

Postdoctoral fellows are recruited annually to participate in the LEND advanced neurodevelopmental disabilities and the Autism Leadership Academy (ALA) training programs. These positions are available to postdocs in health administration, developmental medicine, genetics, public health, nursing, nutrition, occupational therapy, psychology, social work, special education and speech-language. Postdoctoral applicants in other fields may be considered.

Job postings for these UNMC research associate positions open on Nov. 1 of the preceding year. Applicants must have completed all the requirements for their doctoral degree (not including the actual presentation of the degree) before beginning the postdoctoral program.

All other LEND trainees

Recruitment for the all of the 600-hour Advanced Interdisciplinary Leadership Training Programs begins in January of the preceding year. Recruitment for all other training programs takes place year round and applications can be submitted at any time. 

LEND trainees are often recruited through their disciplines/departments at the Munroe-Meyer Institute, University of Nebraska Medical Center. However, trainee candidates from outside MMI can also apply directly to the Nebraska LEND program. To make an application to the program, you will need the following documents:
