Surgical Spine Oncology

Surgical Spine Oncology

Our spine oncology faculty provides our trainees with the technical skills and medical knowledge to function successfully and independently after completion of their residency training.

Our faculty provide care through UNMC's primary clinical partner, Nebraska Medicine, working with a collaborative assembly of experts, including neurosurgeons with fellowship training in the field of surgical spinal oncology, neurologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, orthopedists, urologists and vascular surgeons. This cohesive group collaboratively implements optimal clinical strategies for the treatment of spinal tumors.

Our faculty is wholly devoted to educating residents, imparting essential skills in clinical decision-making, surgical techniques, and pre- and post-operative care for all cases involving spinal tumors.

We are resolutely committed to offering cutting-edge technology and research for the identification and treatment of both primary and metastatic spinal cancer.
