This e-learning module builds upon concepts addressed in a previous module, “Are You Positive This Result is Positive?” In the current module, learners will follow along as a healthcare professional examines a patient using multiple clinical tests to establish a patient diagnosis, a realistic scenario in clinical practice. Learners will be guided to analyze relationships between sensitivity, specificity, and predictive values to determine if clinical test results help rule in or rule out a diagnosis.
