Sodium and Water Balance of IV Fluids: Part 2

(Part 2 of 2) The Sodium and Water Balance e-module looks at the differences in fluid and electrolytes that patients receive and the roles that they play in proper treatment regimens. This module demonstrates how our fluids and electrolytes can fluctuate easily based on volume status and pathophysiology in the body that regulates these fluids. This paves the way for future healthcare workers to have a better understanding of how to regulate volume status, electrolyte changes, and timing of treatments to correct imbalances.
