Research
The Division of General Internal Medicine has a strong history of students and residents participating in new and ongoing research projects. While several faculty in General Internal Medicine are involved in research projects, the majority of investigator-initiated research is done by Drs. Etherton and Nickol. The current scholarly work in the division focuses on clinical informatics, quality and patient safety, field epidemiology, and women’s health.
