Huntington Disease Clinic

Huntington disease (HD) is a progressive disorder of motor, cognitive and psychiatric disturbances.

Indications may include movement disorders (a group of diseases that disrupt the signaling process), emotional and mental health issues, anxiety, depression, compulsions and obsessions.

The Huntington Disease Multi-Disciplinary Clinic team at Nebraska Medicine includes a neurologist, psychiatrist, neuropsychologist, nutritionist, genetic counselor, social worker and nurse.

Ataxia Clinic

The hereditary ataxias are a clinically and genetically heterogeneous group of disorders characterized by slowly progressive incoordination of gait and often associated with poor coordination of hands, speech and eye movements.

The Multi-Disciplinary Ataxia team includes a neurologist, genetic counselor, social worker and nurse.
