Our experts travel to multiple locations within the state of Nebraska to provide evaluations in outreach clinic. They also provide outreach services through state-of-the-art telehealth video conferencing at the clinic site or directly to the home.
All genetic services offered through Omaha clinics are available at any outreach clinic, and typical reasons for referral include:
- A suspected genetic disorder or syndrome
- Abnormal genetic test results (i.e. chromosome analysis, microarray or another specific genetic test)
- Autism
- Developmental delay
- Hereditary cancer
- Multiple congenital anomalies
- Multiple family members with the same genetic condition
- Pre-conceptual counseling
Outreach clinics are held multiple times a year in each location and include evaluations with a board-certified medical geneticist and genetic counselor.
