What sparked your interest in dentistry?
In high school, I decided it would be a good idea to start forming an idea of what I wanted to do in the future. After much consideration, I took the time to shadow a dentist near my school who gave me more than a few opportunities to see a variety of procedures and interactions with patients. I loved the aspect of being able to form relationships with patients and their families and always thought I would enjoy that. During my undergraduate studies, I took the time to shadow more dentists as well as a few other medical specialties, but I always felt pulled towards dentistry.

Your favorite study snack is:
A nutella and peanut butter sandwich with a large glass of milk

Your favorite app is:

Three things people may not know about you:

  • I'm a better dancer than Kevin Bacon in "Footloose."
  • I make a mean origami lotus flower.
  • My range of vocal notes is along the lines of Mariah Carey.
