Perry J. Johnson, M.D., Joins UNMC as Plastic, Reconstructive Surgeon


Perry J. Johnson, M.D., a plastic and reconstructive surgeon, has joined the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s faculty as assistant professor in the department of surgery. He also has a faculty appointment with the Veterans Administration Medical Center.


Dr. Johnson will perform a full range of plastic and reconstructive surgery, including correction of facial nerve paralysis and cosmetic surgery.


For the past two years, Dr. Johnson did a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. From 1991 to 1995, he served as a resident at UNMC in the section of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery.


A native of Albion, Neb., and a 1982 graduate of Millard South High School, Dr. Johnson received his bachelor’s degree in 1986 from the University of Kansas in Lawrence. He earned his medical degree in 1990 from the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City. He completed his surgical intership from 1990 to 1991 at UNMC.
