Quick, think of five things others should know about you.
That’s the theme behind a series in UNMC Today called “Lookin’ at U.”
Each Thursday, we will randomly select a medical center employee or student to feature.
This week, we feature Kacie Gerard, special events associate in the department of public affairs.

- The NBA paid for my college since my dad is a retired player.
 - My fiance Matt and I have two “children.” Beeps is a fawn pug and Mable is a black pug.
 - While in a college journalism class I started to cry because they made me write an obituary for Jim Henson, creator of the Muppets. That was my favorite show when I was little and I even got to see the Muppets studio in New York – it obviously still effected me years later!
 - If I were to compete in the Miss America Pageant, my talent would be playing ‘Dream on’ by Aerosmith on the drums (which is the only song I know how to play on the drums).
 - My favorite place to eat in Omaha is Rivera’s Mexican Restaurant.

Read UNMC Today next Thursday to see who is featured in the next Lookin’ at U article. Who knows — it could be U.
