Walk and Roll reminder

“Round It Up”

No Frills Supermarkets are once again conducting the “Round It Up” campaign. This year’s campaign runs Feb. 11-28. No Frills customers can choose to round up their bill to the next dollar and the spare change will go to benefit recreation therapy programs for adults with developmental disabilities.

There is still time to register for the fifth annual Walk and Roll for Disabilities this Sunday at the Westroads Mall in Omaha.

Sponsored by The C. Louis Meyer Foundation, No Frills Supermarkets, KGOR and Crouch Recreational Design, the event begins at noon on the second level of the mall outside Dick’s Sporting Goods. Check-in and day of registration begins at 11 a.m.

To sign up online, visit www.unmc.edu/mmi and click on the registration link. The registration fee is $20 per person and includes a T-shirt.

New this year, those who are unable to attend can donate online at www.firstgiving.com/walkandroll.

Proceeds from the event will go to support the adult recreation therapy program at UNMC’s Munroe-Meyer Institute. A recent three-day awareness event on the UNMC campus raised more than $500.
